With the commissioning of the real-time display board at the Hornburg central bus station - directly at our depot - the joint digitalisation project of the Greater Braunschweig regional association, the municipalities and transport companies has now been completed across the board. Around 560 digital displays in more than 20 municipalities provide passengers throughout the region with reliable real-time information on departures, delays and disruptions - an important step towards greater transparency and attractiveness in public transport. Who ensures a pleasant journey with a smile? Who remains patient and helpful even in stressful situations? Every day, our bus drivers are on the road for you and make your journey safe and pleasant. That's why we are taking part in the nationwide „Favourite bus driver 2026“ campaign. Now it's your turn: tell your personal bus story and nominate your favourite bus driver. You can share your experiences at www.lieblingsbusfahrerin.de until 31 May 2026 and show your appreciation to the people behind the wheel. A jury will select the most impressive stories from all the entries and choose the favourite bus drivers of 2026. The people who submit the winning stories can also look forward to special recognition. The initiative is supported by the PRO BAHN passenger association, DB Regio, the Association of German Transport Companies (VDV) and the Federal Association of German Bus Companies (bdo), among others. It recognises the work of around 100,000 bus drivers in Germany. The competition was launched in 2023 and has been a resounding success ever since: every year, over 2,300 stories are submitted that show how much small gestures can make a difference in everyday bus life.

Another public transport warning strike has been announced for Thursday, 21 and Friday, 22 May 2026 - but don't worry: we won't be affected!
