Who ensures a pleasant journey with a smile? Who remains patient and helpful even in stressful situations? Our bus drivers are on the road for you every day, making your journey safe and pleasant.
That is why we are taking part in the nationwide campaign „Favourite bus driver 2026“. Now it's up to you: tell your personal bus story and nominate your favourite bus driver.
Until the 31 May 2026 you can share your experiences on www.lieblingsbusfahrerin.de and show your appreciation for the people behind the wheel. A jury will select the most impressive stories from all the entries and choose the favourite bus drivers of 2026. The entrants of the winning stories can also look forward to special recognition.
The initiative is supported by the passenger association PRO BAHN, DB Regio, the Association of German Transport Companies (VDV) and the Federal Association of German Bus and Coach Companies (bdo) carried. It honours the work of the approximately 100,000 bus drivers in Germany.
The competition was launched in 2023 and has been a resounding success ever since. 2,300 stories that show how much small gestures can make a difference in everyday bus life.
