Due to the ongoing construction work on federal road 244 between Wittingen and Brome, there will be restrictions and timetable deviations in bus services beyond 1 June 2026. The full closures are expected to last until 1 July 2026 last.
The federal highway 244 remains fully closed in two areas:
- between Wittingen and Suderwittingen
- between Zasenbeck and Plastau
Diversions and roadworks timetables
For the affected routes 151 - 161 - 162 - 163 - 165, the following will continue to apply when the new route network is introduced on 1 June 2026 Construction site timetables with the following consideration:
- necessary diversions,
- extended journey times,
- Ensuring important school and commuter connections.
Shuttle service for Zasenbeck and Ohrdorf
For the villages of Zasenbeck and Ohrdorf, the shuttle services on route 163 will continue to operate. The journey times are coordinated with the teaching times of the schools in Hankensbüttel, Wittingen, Radenbeck, Brome and Wolfsburg. The transfer will continue to take place in Radenbeck and Küstorf. Both shuttle services are included in the Construction site timetable of the 163 line.
Stops not served
The following stops cannot be served during the construction work:
- Wittingen, South
- Suderwittingen, Place
- Suderwittingen, B244
- Ohrdorf, town centre
The following stops are available as replacements:
- Wittingen, Kakerbecker Straße
- Küstorf, Place

The school timetables published via the schools are only an extract of the regular timetables of the new route network. They do not take into account the effects of the construction work!
