The final timetables will come into effect from 13 August. Since the launch of the new route network on 1 June 2026, some timetables have had to be temporarily adjusted due to ongoing roadworks. These changes are primarily aimed at improving school transport services. Numerous schools will be switching to all-day schooling from the coming academic year, and some departure times will be adjusted accordingly. This affects routes 161, 162 and 163 as follows. Route 161 (Rühen – Croya – Brome) There is a minor adjustment to the school transport service on route 161: On the 13:57 service from Brome, School, the bus will in future stop at the „Neue Schule“ stop in Parsau instead of the „Schule“ stop. This change improves access for the bus and ensures shorter walking distances from the school to the bus. Click here for the timetable Line 162 (Rühen – Bergfeld – Ehra-Lessien) On line 162, several school transport services are being adjusted to reduce journey times and improve connections. Shorter stop times in the morning On the 07:46 service from Ehra-Lessien, the stop time at Ehra-Lessien, Schule, will be reduced from 13 minutes to 3 minutes. Home sooner at midday and in the afternoon The route will be adjusted for the services departing at 12.10, 12.55, 13.50, 15.10, 16.00 and 16.30 from Rühen, School. The stops at Tiddische, Dorfstraße Barwedel, Siedlung Barwedel and Kreuzung will no longer be served by these services. This will reduce journey times for school transport. Tiddische remains accessible via existing connecting services. Change to one service For the 12.25 service departing from Kreuzheide, Schulzentrum, the route will be extended. The Bergfeld, Sportplatz stop will be omitted. The following stops will now be served: Tiddische, Bergfelder Straße Barwedel, Siedlung Barwedel, Ehra-Lessin junction, Ehra-Lessin junction, Siedlung. This adjustment is being made to further optimise school transport. Wittingen Primary School The 15:45 service is being cancelled as it is no longer required. Radenbeck Primary School The previous 15:00 service will now depart at 14:35. In addition, a new service at 15:35 is being introduced. This brings the service into line with all-day schooling. Further changes: The service previously departing at 07:06 from Brome, School will now start at 07:01. The 12:35 service from Brome, School will also serve the „Radenbeck, Ortsmitte“ stop.
