The final timetables will come into effect from 13 August
Since the launch of the new route network on 1 June 2026, some timetables have had to be temporarily adjusted due to ongoing roadworks.
These changes are primarily aimed at improving school transport. A number of schools will be switching to all-day schooling from the coming school year, and some departure times will be adjusted accordingly.
Those affected are the Lines 161, 162 and 163 as follows.
There is a minor change to the school transport service on route 161:
On the journey around 1.57 pm From Brome, at the school, the bus stop in Parsau will be „New School" instead of the bus stop „School" served. The change improves access for the bus and ensures shorter walks from the school to the bus.
On route 162, several school transport services are being adjusted to reduce journey times and improve connections.
Shorter time spent there in the morning
On the journey around 07:46 From Ehra-Lessin onwards, the stopping time is reduced to Ehra-Lessien, School from 13 minutes to 3 minutes.
Home sooner at lunchtime and in the afternoon
On journeys around 12.10 pm, 12.55 pm, 1.50 pm, 3.10 pm, 4.00 pm and 4.30 pm From Rühen onwards, the route will be adjusted. The bus stops
- Tiddische, Village Road
- Barwedel, housing estate
- Barwedel, junction
are generated by these journeys no longer served. This reduces journey times for school transport. Tiddische remains accessible via existing connections.
Adjusting a journey
On the journey around 12.25 pm from Kreuzheide, School Centre The route will be extended. The stop Bergfeld, sports ground (cancelled). The following stops will now be served:
- Tiddische, Bergfelder Straße
- Barwedel, housing estate
- Barwedel, junction
- Ehra-Lessin, junction
- Ehra-Lessin, housing estate
The change is being made to further optimise school transport.
On route 163, several services are being adjusted to the current school timetables.
Wittingen Primary School
The journey around 3.45 pm Omitted, as it is no longer required.
Radenbeck Primary School
The journey so far around 3.00 pm will start as early as 2.35 pm.
In addition, a Next departure at 15:35 has been set up. This brings the provision into line with all-day teaching.
